You’re looking for a real adventure canyoning in the French Riviera? In the very heart of wild Esteron valley, Riolan is one of the canyons you must discover. It is a technically challenging really thrilling canyon and you sometimes have to swim down narrow gullies, in magnificent surroundings, which makes for an exceptional experience.
How difficult is this adventure canyoning tour?
Riolan is a grade 3 canyon which means it is really difficult. It takes a lot of time to go down this descent, so long that you must be quite fit and able to swim long distances. On top of that, some parts are so complex that it is hardly suitable for beginners. Then, it will appeal to experienced sportsmen. Indeed, you will sometimes have to do technical things on the rope and it’s much better to be an experienced canyonist.
With Canyon06, a jump or slide is never mandatory! Your guide will always be able to offer you an alternative. Our goal is above all for everyone to have fun at their own level.
