We had a great time canyoning with the family and I enjoyed some good climbs with my sons. They were flexible and Olivier was helpful and responded really fast.

Level 2 canyoning gedaan.

Merci encore !

My family of 8 (14-38) enjoyed a day of canyoning and absailing whilst in France. We chose Oliver’s company due to his excellent communication. He even gave us lots of recommendations for our trip. He would always get back quickly and was very informative. The rates were excellent as we had over 6 people. We were met by Julien our guide who was lovely, comical and embraced our Scottish accent. He was a good laugh throughout. The activity was excellent. We learned to absail too which was fun! Everyone loved the whole experience. If booking please note: there are no changing areas. We had to change in our cars but we dried quickly in the summer sun. I would have loved if the guides had cameras to take photos. We done ghyll scrambling in the Lake District and there were 2 guides - one of which would take lots of photos for us! Although I appreciate, another guide would increase costs and the currents in some of the waters may be unsafe! But just a suggestion :) We would 100% recommend Olivers company and if we were ever returning to water canyon we would absolutely use this company again!

Canyoning the Bollene Vésubie, small adventure in the mountains near Nice

Canyoning the Bollene Vésubie is truly a small adventure in the mountains near Nice. It is a grade 2 canyon requiring a full day, with a lot of fun and variety, quite a few jumps and toboggans, but not extremely difficult though you have to be fit as it will take four hours. And only an hour’s drive from Nice, Saint Laurent du Var and Cagnes sur mer.

Is canyoning difficult in the Bollene Vésubie?

As graded 2, canyoning the Bollene is moderately difficult. It is one of the easiest full-day canyons and as a consequence will be suitable for an initiation to canyoning. The technical challenge is moderate and it is an enjoyable route with a lot of fun, jumps and toboggans. The approach walk is short and you won’t have to walk a lot to get back. Children older than 12 can do it, but experienced people will be able to face impressive obstacles if they choose.

Rates for canyoning in the Bollene Vésubie

75 euros per person and 70 euros if you book for 6 people and more.
You will pay your canyoning guide with cash when you arrive on the spot.

What do you need?

Swimming trunks and sport shoes, like running shoes or tennis shoes, but do not wear bathing shoes . I will provide technical gear.

You must  have a sandwich and chocolate bars or your favorite snack and a 0.5 liter water bottle per person.

Meeting point

Please do not come without making an appointment first as I cannot lead too large a party.
Please contact me to decide when we’ll meet.

From Nice, follow the D6202 road which goes to Digne and drive through Plan du Var.
The meeting point is after Durandy bridge (yellow, white and red) just after Plan du Var.

And now, you can have a lot of fun in the exciting Bollene canyon, the best in the Vésubie Valley!
